You and I grew up in a time before there was an 'internet'. Luckily we had access to BBS-es (and I even helped run one) which gave us a heads up on the people who had no idea what networking even meant. You stated that Google is not planning on making money off of this stuff and this is where I disagree. I'm fairly certain that Google plans and has made money off our data. Though it's all through targeted advertising. Let's not forget all the network data they "accidently" stole while mapping the streets. Google is what Microsoft used to be...funny how Microsoft is not viewed as evil anymore (from what I can tell). I tried Atomic Fart after you posted this and I must say, it is better than most apps I have purchased (and paid more than .99 for).
